Annapurna region is the name of the Annapurna Mountain range. In the region among the Indigenous people, these mountains are considered as a well-harvesting deity. so, once a year every family offers to sacrifice a cock being thankful to the Annapurna Mountain deity. Annapurna “1st” is the highest peak in this region (8,091m), it is one of the above eight-thousand-meter mountains in Nepal and the “10th” highest mountain in the world. The Annapurna base camp trek is the route to the base camp of Annapurna 1st. (4,130m.), it is a small valley just right at the lap of Annapurna 1st. This trek starts a little bit away from Pokhara by different points; like from Phedi, or Kande, or Nayapul.This trip can be completed within 10 to 12 days. it’s an accessible trek for almost all the types of trekkers in Nepal and this trek can do almost all the seasons except monsoon.  Day 01 – On arrival at the airport of Kathmandu pick you up.

Days 02 – Visit Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, and Swayambunath (UNESCO World Heritage Sites).

Day 03: Drive to Pokhara (820m.), approximately 7 hours journey 210 km.

Day 04: Trek to Ulleri (2045m.), 5/6 hours walk.

Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani (2,750m), 6 hours walk.

Day 06: Morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210m) for sunrise, mountain view, and trek to Tadapani (2,590m), 6/7 hours walk.

Day 07: Trek to Chhomrong (2,17m), 7 hours walk.

Day 08: Trek to Bamboo (2,315m), 6/7 hours walk.

Day 09: Trek to Deurali (3,225m), 7 hours walk.

Day 10: Trek to  Annapurna Base Camp and explore around there (2,335m), 4 hours walk.

Day 11: Trek to Bamboo (1,780m), 7 hours walk.

Day 12: Trek to Jhinu (2,100m) 6/7 hours walk.

Day 13: Trek to Pothana (1,890m) 6/7 hours walk.

Day 14: Trek to Phedi and drive to Pokhara(820m) 2 hours walk.

Day 15: Return to Kathmandu (1,350m).

Day 16: Cultural visit to Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Kathmandu Durbar Square (UNESCO World Heritage Sites)

Pashupatinath temple belongs to the lord Shiva, who is considered as the God of destruction and recreation. According to the legend, once upon a time, he had emerged in the form of the Shiva Linga for prosperous civilization in the valley. This is one of Nepalese Hindu’s foremost holiest pilgrimages and crematories on the bank of the holy Bagmati River. Today, you will observe various religious activities there, from life to death of hope and belief. Continue to visit a Buddhist site at Bouddhanath, which is an amazing Buddhist corner in Kathmandu Valley filled with beautiful Buddhist monasteries and monuments. It is one of the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Nepal, where the world’s largest stupa hums the foremost prayer “mantra” “Om Mane Padme Hum” with its prayer wheels around the stupa. Then at the end of the day visit Swayambhunath, a small hill in the western corner of the Kathmandu Valley. It is also a famous Buddhist site with its most ancient stupa. This is also known as Monkey Temple because there are a lot of monkeys around this site. From there you will enjoy the panoramic view of Kathmandu Valley. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Pokhara is a very touristy city in Nepal. It is the second largest city, located on the banks of Phewa Lake with the gleaming Annapurna mountain range to the north. Throughout your driving journey to Pokhara, you will pass through small towns and villages along the highway. where you will see a part of the way of life of Nepalese people with amazing geographical diversity, terraced farming, forests, and landscape views. After breakfast, transfer to Nayapul trek point, then you start walking towards a small village Ulleri through small settlements, terraced farming, streams, and forests. This is a beautiful village with blue-roofed lodges for trekkers. it is one of the stopovers for trekkers in a peaceful environment in nature, far from the noise and smoke of transport. Ghorepani is the most prominent and famous junction for trekkers on Annapurna Balcony trekking routes, where multi-trekking routes join and diverge. It is an incredibly beautiful touristy village with blue-roofed lodges and hotels just right in front of the Annapurna Mountain range and the middle of a beautiful rhododendron forest. where you can meet people from all over the world during their journey, creating a life story to remember and share as an unforgettable amazing souvenir of life. Apart from that, especially this place is very famous for its excursion to Poon Hill (3,210 m) early in the morning to see the sunrise and first ray on the Annapurna mountain range amazingly close. First of all, a very early morning excursion to Poon Hill (3,210 m.) to see the view of the Annapurna Mountain range very closely and the sunrise on Annapurna peaks. Poon Hill is a well-known viewpoint in the region, every trekker hikes there early in the morning. Then after breakfast in the hotel, you will have a pleasant walk towards Tadapani through the rhododendron forest with a beautiful landscape and an incredible wide range of Mountain views all along the way. Tadapani is also a well-known stopover for trekkers in the middle of the rhododendron forest with blue-roofed lodges and hotels just right below the Annapurna South and Machhapuchre (fishtail).  Overnight at Tadapani.

The walk from Tadapani to Chhomrong is a pleasant journey, sometimes through beautiful rhododendron forests and sometimes through small villages with terraced fields and dazzling mountain views all the way to Chhomrong. It is one of the most beautiful villages of the Gurung people in the region. It is situated as a viewpoint of the Annapurna Mountain range and stunning landscape. Overnight at Chhomrong.

After Chhomrong village, your route directly goes to Annapurna Base Camp, there are no other secondary routes. Today, journey to bamboo throughout the day, you will climb up and down stairs. Bamboo is a stopover for trekkers in the middle of Bamboo, Oak, and Rhododendron forests. Night over at Bamboo.

After Bamboo, Every day and hour goes closer and closer to the mountain region. there are no villages or traditional settlements except lodges and teahouses for trekkers on the route. Throughout the day through the rhododendron and bamboo forest, following the small stream headed to the next stopover Deurali. Overnight at Deurali.

After Deurali you will feel that you are already closer to the mountain, the trees become shorter and bushier, and your pace will also slow down while you take deep breaths with the cool breeze. You will feel amazing satisfaction when you reach the destinations that you have dreamed of in your life. Overnight at ABC.

Today you start to get back down to Bamboo throughout the day by the same route. You will feel less tired when you descend than when you ascend, so you will be faster at your pace. Overnight at Bamboo.

Today, you will return via the same route by climbing up and down stone stairs from Bamboo to Jhinu throughout the day. Overnight at Jhinu.

From Jhinu to Pothana will be a completely cultural hike, you will go through terraced farming rice fields and settlements with mingled activities of tourism and traditional way of life. This section of the journey is exciting in terms of cultural activities despite you are tired at the end of your trekking. Overnight at Pothana.

Today, it’s the last day of your trekking, one of the historical journeys in your life. you will be excited to get back to Pokhara. After a couple of hours walk, you will drive an hour to get to Pokhara and you will have free time to walk around at lakeside in Pokhara.  Overnight in Pokhara.

There are two ways to return from Pokhara to Kathmandu, air route and land route. It takes 20 minutes of flight by air, and about  7 hours drive by land. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Kathmandu Durbar Square; Durbar Square means the royal palace square in Nepali. It is a historical and cultural center of the medieval era in Kathmandu Valley. Once upon a time, this site was the kingdom of Nepal. Today, it is very famous for its monuments, craftsmanship, and medieval cultural traditions. This place was also very famous among hippies around the world in the 1960s to 1970s, as a destination of peace and love. As well as Bhaktapur is the foremost ancient town in the valley. It is known as an open museum in the entire town. Overnight in Kathmandu.
